FreeDOS: FDOS site

This site mirrors items of interest to FreeDOS developers and users. Additionally it is the home of FDOS (FreeDOS Distribution Of Sorts, 386+ for DOS/Win32).

Primary Sites:
Main FreeDOS page (http://www.freedos.org/ - mirror.tar.gz) and
    Spanish FreeDOS page (http://inicia.es/de/aitorsm/FreeDOS/ - replica.zip)

FreeDOS Help from HTMLHelp

If you are looking for a FreeDOS distribution then check out the obtaining FreeDOS page.
Other FreeDOS sites - mirrors and localized content.

Or get a basic FreeDOS boot disk.
Contents: A bootable floppy image with FDISK, SYS, FORMAT, and
a few other useful utilites leaving over 800KB free for whatever you want to add.

For more modern computers, see XOSL (Extended Operating System Loader) for multi-boot support. Includes Smart Boot Manager as well (great for booting CD-ROMs from PC's whose BIOS support is lacking [either incomplete, buggy, or simply non-existant]. As the primary site xosl.org seems no longer available, I've mirrored the mirror to http://xosl.fdos.org/ (in case the mirror disappears as well).

For command use, see http://projects.freedos.net/htmlhelp/ for the FreeDOS HTMLHelp program and help files.
Or view the help files mirrored online: FreeDOS Help

You can now Search this site.

With Aitor Santamarķa Merino's help, I am trying to get this site to support both English and Spanish.
The pages that support multiple languages are named page_name.html.lang
i.e. page_name.html.en (for English only) or page_name.html.es (for Spanish only).
